A graduate of Carleton University in Aerospace Engineering, Kyle traded rockets for creative ventures, building a career at the intersection of tech, marketing, and storytelling. Since co-founding WebMarketers in 2013, he has spearheaded large-scale projects for clients like the Ottawa Senators, Hard Rock, and Claridge Homes, managing everything from media buys to full-scale marketing campaigns. Kyle thrives on turning ambitious ideas into polished realities, guiding Phantom with equal parts business savvy and creative daring. Whether overseeing strategy, developing partnerships, or diving into production details, he brings focus and energy that keeps Phantom at the cutting edge. With a knack for spotting opportunities and an eye on the big picture, Kyle ensures Phantom continues to scale, innovate, and deliver work that makes an impact.

Chris thrives on pushing boundaries, turning even the simplest idea into something extraordinary through dynamic video, photography, and design. From early brainstorming sessions to final delivery, he ensures every piece of content reflects Phantom’s playful yet polished style. Known for balancing artistry with strategy, Chris crafts visuals that aren’t just beautiful but purposeful, connecting with audiences in ways that stick. His leadership inspires the team to keep raising the bar, experimenting with new techniques, and delivering content that stands out in a crowded market. Alex is Phantom’s Chief Operating Officer, steering the business with a steady hand and a vision for growth. With a degree in Information Systems from St. Francis Xavier University and further studies in Indigenous Studies at the University of Alberta, Alex blends technical knowledge with a deep commitment to diversity and leadership. His career spans executive roles at Accenture, Simple Story, and Ascribe Marketing, where he honed his expertise in operations, digital strategy, and scaling creative teams. Recognized with accolades including OBJ’s Forty Under 40 and the Young Alumnus Award from StFX, Alex is no stranger to leading at the highest levels. He has overseen major projects for organizations like CMHC, Health Canada, and CHEO, managing multi-million-dollar initiatives with precision. At Phantom, Alex ensures the team runs seamlessly, guiding processes, projects, and people with equal care. His focus is building infrastructure that allows creativity to flourish without limits.



James Ward

Head of Operations
James is Phantom’s operations lead, keeping projects on track and clients smiling with a rare mix of military precision and creative adaptability. A graduate of Staffordshire University with a degree in Intelligence and International Operations, James began his career in military intelligence before moving into marketing, branding, and web development. His background allows him to approach operations with a unique lens — balancing rigorous structure with the flexibility needed in the creative world. Over the years, he has managed everything from magazine publications to large-scale digital projects, developing a reputation for delivering results under pressure. At Phantom, James oversees the daily flow of operations, ensuring work is delivered on time, on budget, and on spec. Outside of his role, James is also a professional wrestler, a pursuit that reflects his dedication, discipline, and drive. His leadership keeps Phantom agile, efficient, and ready for any challenge.

James is Phantom’s design mastermind, blending creativity and strategy to craft visuals that resonate across platforms. With an Advanced Diploma in Graphic Design and additional training in Web Development and UI/UX from RED Academy, he brings a multidisciplinary approach to every project. Over the years, James has collaborated with major organizations like Google, AWS, CHEO, and the Ottawa Heart Institute, shaping design work that balances beauty with function. Since joining WebMarketers in 2020 as Partner and Director of Design, James has helped build brands from the ground up, guiding everything from digital campaigns to full rebrands. His design philosophy is rooted in clarity, storytelling, and user experience — ensuring every piece of work not only looks great but also performs. A recipient of the Student Council Executive Leadership Award, James leads Phantom’s design team with a mix of creativity, technical skill, and an unwavering eye for detail.
